Tucked away in the middle of the historic district of Pass-A-Grille is the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum. It was built in 1917 as the first church in the Pinellas county area. It remained a church until 1959 when it was sold to a private owner. After she died, she willed the building to the county to be used as an island museum.

The museum opened to the public in 1993 and is completely managed by local volunteers. It is also supported by a nonprofit company friends of the museum. All the funding goes towards the collection and preservation of PAG history.

Some of their cool items include: Extensive retro postcard collections. PAG in World War II, Artifacts of the Don CeSar, old photographs, and antique newspapers.
