Guest Policies & Conditions 

Advanced Payment:

An advanced reservation payment of fifty (50) percent is required to confirm your reservation at time of booking. Advanced reservation payments are not damage deposits. Advanced reservation payments are made by credit card, bank transfer, or check. Any remaining balances are due fourty-five (45) days prior to arrival date. Reservations made within forty-five (45) days of arrival date require full payment at time of booking. Reservations made on this site will require a deposit of half the rental amount balance to confirm booking with the remaining half, taxes and fees as well as the damage deposit due two (2) days prior to arrival. 

Confirmations:

Upon receipt of your final advanced reservation payment, your reservation confirmation will be e-mailed to you. Enclosed will be directions and arrival instructions. Please be sure to print all sheets. 

Rates:

Rates are subject to change without notice if the rental is un-booked because the rates are based off of a dynamic booking system rate and are quoted and updated on a daily basis based on local occupancy. Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows reserves the right to correct rates that may have been misquoted regardless of how the error was made. Weekly rates should be requested by emailing Tyler directly for the better pricing. 

Taxes: 

Tax in Pinellas County is 6%. Tax for the State is 7% so total tax is 14%. Guests are responsible for paying all taxes. 

Processing Fees:

At this time there are no processing fees.

 Additional Fees:

A non-refundable housekeeping fee will be charged to all reservations. Housekeeping fees vary on the size of the property. 

 Cancellation Policy: It is strongly encouraged that all guests purchase CSA Travel Protection Insurance. Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) option has been added to travel insurance. For this to apply to your stay, you must select that option to opt in and it must be purchased within a specified time frame. Any guests choosing not to purchase CSA Travel Protection Insurance may only cancel 6 weeks prior to their scheduled arrival date and receive a refund of the advanced payment, minus a $100 cancellation fee. Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows does not give refunds for Man-Made, unsupported emergencies (anything where the Pass a Grille beach is not under a mandatory evacuation zone) and/or for Technological disasters. Cancellation and Refund Policy Notice of cancellation by Guest: Notice must be in writing or email – Refund Policy: If notified 60 days prior to arrival then full refund of any amount paid less $100 in admin. fees. Should you cancel your stay within 30 days of your arrival you will receive a refund for the cleaning fee and 50% of any amount paid.  We recommend trip insurance to help cover the cost of upcoming issues. Please read any details in the insurance policy so that you know their rules. Guest will be charged a $100 administrative fee for changes to reservations. **NOTE: If you have rented through VR/HomeAway their service charge which was paid in the initial payment will NOT be refunded as it was paid to them and not Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows.

Parking and Keys:

Please make sure you have your designated parking pass at all times in your vehicle and it is displayed if you are parked on the street. There are other designated parking areas on the property that will be explained in the Check In/Welcome to the Beach Letter/email you will receive. The parking pass is to be returned before departure and left in your rental upon departure. There is a $500 fee for loosing this pass. We are only allowed one pass per rental per year. So, please remember this. We also, have bicycle lock keys that too upon departure need to be with the parking pass in your rental and returned as well.

Pet Policy:

Must be approved in advance by Owner–Pets must be non-aggressive toward other animals, adults or children. You must have a health note from your vet dated within 30 days of travel- you must either take a picture and email that to me or send it to me in the mail- It has to note that pet is on a flea treatment/heart worm program. We will need a copy of your pet’s health certificate for our files 3 weeks prior to your arrival. You are responsible for picking up after your animal. There is a non-refundable cleaning fee of $85 required for pet owners.

CSA Travel Protection Insurance

The insurance premium is 6.95% of your total reservation amount and can be added at the time of booking. Here is a link to CSA Travel Insurance:

Hurricanes/Tropical Storms 

No refunds will be made due to Hurricanes or Tropical Storms, even in the event of mandatory evacuations. Refunds for Hurricanes or Tropical Storm evacuations are only given through CSA Travel Protection Insurance- under their policy’s. 

Check-In Time:

Check-in time begins at 4 p.m. Local Time. In some cases, access to your property may be unavoidably delayed due to cleaning or maintenance issues. Southern Pass-a-Grille Beach House Bungalows does not guarantee early arrivals. No refunds will be given for late arrivals or early departures. 

Check-out Time:

Check-out time is no later than 10 a.m. Local Time on the scheduled day of departure. Any guests departing after 10 a.m. will be subject to an additional fee. Guests are expected to leave the properties in neat condition, take out all trash and clean all dishes, pull bed linens and towels. If a property is left excessively dirty guests will incur additional charges. 

Family Rentals:

All properties are for family & adult rentals only. No properties will be rented to vacationing students or adults under the age of 25 who are unaccompanied by a responsible parent or guardian. A PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST BE STAYING IN THE PROPERTY AT ALL TIMES. ANY VIOLATORS WILL BE EVICTED AND FORFEIT ALL RENTAL PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS. THIS POLICY INCLUDES RESERVATIONS MADE BY PARENTS OR GUARDIANS WHO CHECK UNDERAGE GUESTS IN, THEN LEAVE BEFORE THE ENTIRE STAY IS COMPLETED. In accordance with Florida State Statute 509.141, reservations made under false pretense are null and void and check-in will not be allowed. 

Property Damage:

Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows ask that if any damages are found upon a guest’s arrival that they report them immediately. An active credit card is required to maintain the reservation and the integrity of the property. By making a reservation with Southern Pass-a-Grille Beach House Bungalows you waive your right to dispute any charges that are made to your credit card regarding this policy. Non-billing stipulations include: 

  • No damage to the property or theft 
  • No violations of rental policies 
  • Rental is left in a neat and orderly condition 
  • All garbage is removed from the property 

Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows reserves the right to bill the credit card for violations of this policy. 

 Minimum Stay Requirements 

All properties require three (3) night minimums. In some cases a minimum stay of 1 nights will be allowed. Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows will determine when a property will allow a less than a three night stay. 

 Smoking 

Smoking and vaping are not allowed in any of Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows. Any guests found to be in violation of this policy will be billed an additional fee. 

Subletting 

Reservations are not transferrable. 

 Maintenance 

Please report any maintenance issues during your stay. Maintenance orders will be handled in the order they are received. Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows staff and authorized vendors may enter the properties to respond to any maintenance or housekeeping issues during your stay. There are NO refunds or adjustments for maintenance issues or unforeseen failures such as the supply of electricity, water, telephone, television, cable or satellite providers, appliances or air conditioning.

Internet 

Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows has internet access, for no additional charge. Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows does not, however, guarantee internet connectivity. If a guest does access any internet content during your stay you do so at your own risk and are responsible for ensuring that any accessed material does not violate laws regarding copyright, trademarks, pornography or any material deemed slanderous, defamatory or offensive. No refunds will be given due to loss of internet service. 

 Beach Towels 

Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Rentals provides beach towels. Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows does not allow any towels, sheets, blankets, or furniture to be removed from a property when vacating the premises. 

 Housekeeping 

All properties will be stocked with an initial supply of coffee, filters, creamer, sugar, trash liners, toilet paper, paper towels and dishwasher soap. Once this initial supply is depleted it is up to the guest discretion to purchase additional during their stay if needed. 

Neighborhood Rules 

Most neighborhoods have strict rules in many cases regarding parking, garbage removal, and respect for neighbors privacy as well as noise level. For questions about restrictions please contact Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows. Guests are encouraged to be good neighbors. 

 Long-Term Rentals/Mailboxes 

Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows does not guarantee use of a mailbox with every rental.  No Long-Term Rentals over 30 days allowed. 

 Disclaimer 

The Renter agrees that Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows shall not be liable to Renter, Renter’s Guests, Invitees or any Person for any injury, loss or damage to any Person or Property on or about the rental premises. Renter shall hold Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows harmless and indemnified from and against all loss or damage occasioned by use, misuses or abuse of any part of or fixture on the premises, surrounding areas and from or against any omission, neglect or default of the Renter, his/her Guests or Invitees. The Renter acknowledges that Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows acting solely in the capacity of property owner, assumes no liability here under.
