If you are searching for a Pass-A-Grille bungalow rental, you probably do not want a hotel on the strip. You want a real house on the sand, a grill out back, and a short walk to the water — no crossing Gulf Blvd with beach chairs in your hands. That is what we have at 108 12th Ave, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706. Four historic bungalows sit at the southern tip of St. Pete Beach, on the quiet end of Pass-A-Grille. The Gulf is in front of you. The bay is a short walk the other way. Historic 8th Avenue — shops, restaurants, that little downtown Robert Ripley called one of the shortest main streets in America — is a few blocks north.
Why 12th Avenue matters
Pass-A-Grille is only about 31 blocks long and one block wide, with water on both sides. Our bungalows are on 12th Ave, right on the beach side. Guests keep saying the same thing in reviews: it is a very short walk to the beach and the bay, it feels private, and you can walk to dinner. You get one free parking spot. Beach chairs and beach gear are here. There is an outdoor shower so you are not tracking sand through the house. Check-in is contactless. Pets are welcome, $85 per pet. The island stays walkable — Shaner’s Market for fish and produce, Merry Pier if you want to fish, Paradise Grille for the sunset bell, and the restaurants on 8th Avenue without getting back in the car.
“Tyler was very quick to respond. Place was very clean, everything we needed, just steps to the beach, very private.” — Angela
“The perfect location with a very short walk to the beach and the bay plus several restaurants within walking distance. The bungalow has everything you need.” — Rebecca

The four bungalows
Same address. Same beach. The difference is size, stairs, and who each one is built for. Use Cozy Beach Bungalow as the name for the ground-floor studio (you may also hear it called SandPearl).
The SeaHorse Bungalow
Our largest, built in 1925. Two bedrooms — a king and a queen — plus a queen sleeper sofa. Sleeps 6. Washer and dryer, hardwood floors, and a private gated patio with a charcoal grill. This is the family house, or the one for two couples who want to stay together.
The StarFish Bungalow
One bedroom with a queen, plus a queen sleeper in the living room. Sleeps 4. Updated bathroom, breakfast bar, deck with a grill. Best for a couple who wants extra space, or a small family.
The Cozy Beach Bungalow
Ground-floor studio. Queen bed and a sleeper sofa. Sleeps 4. Private gated patio. No stairs. If you want to rinse off and walk straight onto the deck, this is the easy one. (Also known as SandPearl on some of our pages.)

The NorthStar Bungalow
Upstairs. One bedroom with a queen, plus a queen sleeper sofa. Sleeps 4. New couch and sofa bed as of February 2026, hardwood floors, shared patio and grill. The stairs are steep, so if anyone in your group has trouble with stairs, book Cozy Beach Bungalow or SeaHorse instead.
